Morning: Setting the Foundation for Healing

Each day at The Landing starts with structure and purpose. Residents begin their mornings with a healthy breakfast in a community setting, fostering a sense of connection and routine. Proper nutrition is a critical aspect of mental health recovery, and we emphasize balanced meals to support physical and emotional well-being.

After breakfast, residents participate in check-in groups, setting the stage for the day. These practices help individuals develop coping strategies that reduce anxiety and improve focus, creating a foundation for the therapeutic work ahead.

Mid-Morning: Individualized Therapy and Medical Care

As a leader in mental health and co-occurring disorder treatment, The Landing provides access to a variety of therapeutic modalities designed to address each person’s unique challenges. Mid-morning sessions often involve individual therapy with one of our licensed mental health professionals. These sessions are personalized, allowing residents to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in a safe, supportive environment.

In addition to therapy, residents have access to medical care, including medication management. Our medical team works closely with each resident to monitor their progress and ensure that they are receiving the most effective treatment for their needs.

Afternoon: Group Therapy and Skill-Building Workshops

Afternoons at The Landing are dedicated to group therapy and life skills training. Group therapy allows residents to connect with others facing similar challenges, providing peer support and a sense of belonging. These sessions are led by experienced therapists who facilitate meaningful discussions on topics such as emotional regulation, communication, and healthy relationships.

Residents also participate in skill-building workshops, where they learn practical tools to support their recovery journey. These workshops focus on areas like stress management, goal-setting, and problem-solving. At The Landing, we believe in providing holistic care that prepares residents for life beyond treatment, ensuring they have the tools needed to thrive in everyday situations.

Evening: Reflect, Connect, and Unwind

As the day winds down, residents have time for reflection and relaxation. Evenings often include community activities that promote bonding and offer a chance to unwind. Whether it’s a movie night, an art therapy session, or simply relaxing with a book, residents are encouraged to engage in activities that bring them peace and joy.

Throughout the day, our staff is available 24/7 to provide support and guidance, ensuring that each resident feels cared for at every step of their journey. Whether it’s offering a listening ear or addressing specific concerns, we are here to make sure our residents feel safe and supported.

Family Support, Outside Appointments and Support Groups

In addition to scheduled programming, The Landing provides Family Therapy, ensuring residents have support from those closest to them. Outside appointments including primary care and dental are arranged to ensure comprehensive wellness. As a leader in dual-diagnosis treatment, The Landing provides opportunity for residents to engage in on-site support groups including, but not limited to Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Narcotics Anonymous and SMART Recovery.

Continuing Care and Long-Term Recovery

One of the key aspects of residential treatment at The Landing is our focus on preparing residents for life after treatment. Every individual’s time with us is tailored to their clinical and medical needs, with many staying for 90 days to ensure a successful transition. Our comprehensive program includes discharge planning and ongoing support, helping residents step down to lower levels of care with confidence.

At The Landing, we are committed to helping our residents build a foundation for long-term mental health and recovery. Our team of experts works tirelessly to provide a nurturing, therapeutic environment where healing is not only possible but achievable.
